We are hosting a Super Smash Bros tournament this weekend at our local gaming center. Read below for more details.
The tournament will take place on Saturday, June 18th from 12pm to 6pm at Game Stars Gaming Center located at 123 Main St. Walk-ins are welcome but we recommend preregistering online.
You can preregister online at www.gamestarscenter.com. Click on the "Tournaments" tab and find the listing for our Super Smash event. Registration is $20 and includes your entry into the tournament as well as a tournament T-shirt.
We will have setups for both Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch as well as Melee on the GameCube. Players can choose to enter either or both tournaments.
Yes, we will have cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both the Ultimate and Melee brackets. 1st place will receive $200, 2nd place $100, and 3rd place $50.
Be sure to bring your own controller if you have a preference. We will have setups and providing standard controllers but bringing your own is recommended. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase on site. No outside food or beverages allowed. Good luck and we look forward to seeing you there!
