A skittle alley is an indoor alley or lane used for playing ten-pin bowling or other bowling games like duckpin bowling.
The objective is to knock down as many skittles (pins) as possible by rolling a ball down the alley. Points are scored based on the number of skittles knocked down on each roll.
The basic rules are similar to ten-pin bowling. Each player gets two rolls per frame to try and knock down all 10 skittles. Bonus points are awarded for strikes and spares.
