Puppy classes are available for dogs as young as 6 months old. For livestock experience, we recommend waiting until your dog is at least 1 year old to ensure proper maturity and training.
Beginner courses run for 4 weeks, 1 day per week. Intermediate and advanced training are 6 weeks, 2 days per week. Private lessons are also available.
Herding breeds like Border Collies, Australian Shepherds and Shetland Sheepdogs tend to take to the job most naturally due to their high drive and problem-solving abilities. However, most any breed can learn with the right training.
Yes, we offer boarding in our kennel facilities for dogs enrolled in multi-day training programs. This allows them to practice and refine their skills without long travel each day.
