Pottery World is a local pottery studio located at 123 Main St. We offer pottery classes for both beginners and advanced students. Below are some frequently asked questions about our studio.
We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced hand-building and wheel-throwing classes. Beginner classes focus on basic hand-building techniques like coil pots and slab construction. Intermediate classes expand on those skills and introduce wheel-throwing. Advanced classes are for developing your personal style and technique.
For hand-building classes all you need is an apron. For wheel-throwing classes you will need your own pottery tools like rib tools and trimming tools. All clay and glazes are provided.
Classes are offered in 6 week sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm and Saturdays from 1-3pm. Beginner classes are $150 per session and intermediate/advanced classes are $180 per session.
Yes, we offer open studio on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am-2pm for $15 per session. No instruction is provided but all supplies are included to work on your projects independently.
