We provide various body realignment therapies to help improve your posture, flexibility and reduce back and joint pain. Our therapies are both gentle and effective in correcting misalignments in the body.
Body realignment is a manual therapy that works to restore the proper alignment of the skeletal structure through gentle manipulation and mobilization of the joints and soft tissues. This helps bring the body into a balanced state of structural and functional integrity.
Body realignment therapies can help with various musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, joint stiffness, muscle tightness, repetitive strain injuries and more. It is also beneficial for general health, athletic performance and injury rehabilitation.
A session usually involves a detailed assessment and manual techniques tailored for each client. The soft tissue and joints are gently mobilized to improve range of motion and decrease muscle tensions. Stretches and corrective exercises may also be recommended. Most clients experience relief after 1-3 sessions.
Our techniques are performed very gently to avoid pain or discomfort. While realigning structural imbalances may feel different than a massage, it shouldn't be painful. You may feel some mild soreness afterwards but not pain. We encourage clients to communicate their comfort levels during sessions.
The benefits of a single session typically last a few weeks with gradual fading. However, multiple sessions spaced 3-4 weeks apart help establish long-lasting changes as the body learns to hold improved positions. Ongoing gentle self-care is also recommended to maintain optimal alignment.
